Travelling around Osaka and taking bullet train to Tokyo

Hi,

I would like to know is it worth of money buy JR pass. My initiary is following:
Day 1: arriving to Osaka Kansai airport and taking train to Namba. Can JR pass be used in this line?
Day 2: going to Kyoto
Day 3: going to Kobe
Day 4: going to Nara
Day 5: going to Hiroshima
Days 6-8 in Osaka
Day 9: taking Shinkansen to Tokyo
Days 10-12 in Tokyo
Day 13: going from Asakusa station to Narita airport. Can JR pass be used in this line?

Hi there,

You'll be travelling quite a bit :) With that in mind, I'd use a 7 day Japan Rail Pass from Day 3 to Day 9. These are the places and routes that cost the most to travel and where a JR Pass will get you the best savings. Local travel around Kansai and Tokyo is relatively low cost and you'd be fine there buying normal tickets.
