Hi, I will be travelling to Tokyo next mont with a friend. We will arrive to Haneda airport and need to take a train to Kyoto. We will stay there 3 days and then go back to Tokyo where we will stay 5 days.
Is it worth it to take this pass? also, can we travel inside Kyoto and inside Tokyo with this pass as well?
And last question, where´´s the train station? inside the airport? Pls let me know!

thank you so much!

Best regards

Hi there,

I do think a 7-day JR Pass is worth considering for this trip. The cost of a 7-day pass is similar to the cost of a return ticket Tokyo - Kyoto using the Shinkansen. Now you get 7-days of unlimited travel for the same price.

The JR Pass can also be used to travel to/from the airport, on local JR lines around Tokyo and Kyoto, in addition to any possible day trip you may want to do. Osaka perhaps?

To find the station in the airport, just follow the signs with Railways. You can't miss it.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
