Hi,

I used the HyperDia site to see what the train route was like from Noboribetsu to Tokyo and in all possible routes I needed to fly.

I am wondering if I could travel down from Noboribetsu to Tokyo using the JR pass and not need to book a flight?

What would the route be like if I could just use the JR Pass?

Hi there,

When using Hyperdia, disable the options flights and it will show you train routes only.

Basically, take the ltd. express train from Noboribetsu to Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto and from there the Hokkaido Shinkansen to Tokyo.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
