Hi,
I have purchased the 7days JR-Pass.
I'll be going to Tokyo and stay at Shin-Osaka area for 5 days.
Was planning to go to USJ and Kyoto. Will this area be covered by JR-Pass? Does JR-Pass covered in tokyo area as well?
And, where else recommended area to go for a day trip from Shin-Osaka that would covered by the JR-Pass?
Is it possible to make a day trip to Hokkaido/Sapporo/Kyushu?
Thanks.

Hi there,

The JR Pass covers travel to all the places you wish to go to, including local trains in Tokyo.

For day trips from Shin-Osaka, you could visit Kobe, Himeji, Hiroshima, Nara, Okayama, Kinosaki, the list go on.

You can visit Hokkaido/Sapporo/Kyushu but keep in mind that distances are pretty long and you may need more than a day to visit them.

Hope this helps,
Daniel

Hi Daniel,

Thanks for your reply. From shin-osaka station, i would like to go to kawaguchiko and spent a night there. Is there a shinkasen direct to the area and covered in JR Pass?

Thanks
