I am travelling a lot with the rugby World Cup , would a Japanese Rail Pass cover me for the following:
Wednesday 25thSept pick up rail pass (21 day ) in Osaka
26th Osaka to Kobe (return)
30th Osaka to Kobe ( return)
1st October Osaka to Hiroshima
3rd Hiroshima to Kobe
4th Kobe to Tokyo ( Shibuya)
8th Tokyo( shibuya) to Hakone
10th Hakone to Yokohama
13th Yokohama to Yamanashi
15th Yamanashi to Osaka
I believe there are two prices , I think I would prefer the class where you are guaranteed a seat ( ? First class)
I would be grateful on any advice that you can offer on the above itinerary
Travel in Japan for the rugby world cup

Hi there,
The JR Pass will cover travel between all the cities you travel and help you make significant savings compared to buying tickets as-you-go. That said, you may still require local transport in addition to the JR Pass.
I wrote a station access list a while back, you can find it here and may find it useful for getting to each game.
Hope this helps,
Daniel
