Hello Daniel,

If we purchase the Ordinary Class, are the reserved and non-reserved seating in separate carriages or are they together?

Do the trains and buses in Japan run 24 hours or do they have specific running time?

Thank you,

Mary

Hi there,

Most trains have separate carriages for reserved and non-reserved seats, as well as for Green Seats (1st class).

Operating times depend on the line and operator but in general public transport runs from about 6am to midnight.

Kind regards,
Daniel
