I'm planing to buy the Tokyo wide pass and I know that the pass dose not cover to the Mastumoto,
so if I take a direct train from Shinjugu to Mastumoto, do I have to get down the train at Kobuchizawa(which the pass covers this station) to buy an exter ticket to Mastumoto. Or what should do cos I found the price from Kobuchizawa to Mastumoto is about ¥1,140.

Thank you :)

Hi there,

You can pay the difference on board or when you arrive at Matsumoto station.

Japan is a land of convenience :)

Hope you find this useful,
Daniel
