Tokyo to Kyoto

Hi! My husband and I will arrive in Tokyo on April 23rd, we plan to take the bullet train the next day and will be in Kyoto until the 30th and will come back to Tokyo until May 6th. Do you recommend buying the 7 day or 14 day pass if we don’t plan on traveling around a lot? Thanks for your help!

Hi there,

A 7 day JR Pass would work if you can cover a return Tokyo - Kyoto with it. However you don't do enough travel for a 14 day JR Pass to help you make savings. In that case you may as well go ahead and buy normal tickets.
