Tokyo to Jogasaki-Kaigan

I have a question regarding traveling to Jogasaki-Kaigan from Tokyo. I plan to visit Jogasaki coast on March 25 and will be using my JR Pass to get from Tokyo to Atami and then take JR Ito Line for Izukyu Shimoda. However, part of the route is not covered by JR Pass(Izu Kyuko Line) but I won't change train, just change from JR line to non-JR. How can I pay the additional fee? Should I find an attendant at Jogasaki-Kaigan station, show my JR Pass and pay the additional cost of my journey?

Best regards,

Hi there,

You will pay the difference upon arrival at the station. Just show your JR Pass and the staff will tell you the extra fare.

Kind regards,
