Hi, m landing on 2nd April at 2240 hrs. I want to go to Kyoto fr 3days and return to Tokyo on the 5th. 1.How do I activate the jr pass and proceed to tokyo station to take the Shinkansen to Kyoto at the late night?
2.Also is the train from Haneda to Tokyo station includes in 1 week jr pass?
3. Do I need any other pass other then the 1 week jr pass; I am visiting Tokyo Kyoto and May b only 2days in Tokyo city?

Hi there,
1.) This is not possible at night, there are no public transport services in Japan during the night. I would stay near the airport or within Tokyo for the first night and travel on the following morning.
2.) Yes, you can use the Tokyo Monorail from Haneda Airport using the JR Pass.
3.) The JR Pass will be plenty here :)
