hi we are planning to visit in march for 7days. we plan to spend 3nights in tokyo and 3nights in kyoto and then back to narita airport.
does the JR pass cover:
journey from narita airport to tokyo central
how long is the journey from tokyo to kyoto
is it advisable to go from kyoto to narita airport(our flight back is at 17:25) or should we spend the night instead in tokyo
if it is, is the journey from kyoto to narita covered by the pass.

Hi there,
Yes, the JR Pass covers the Narita Express.
As well as the Hikari Shinkansen from Tokyo - Kyoto, taking about 160 minutes.
The way back to Narita is about 5 hours. Since your flight is quite late, you could travel there on the same day, or go back the day before and travel a bit less that day. Either option works. The JR Pass fully covers this trip too :)
