Hi There,

Need your help and advise that which JRail pass we should buy and if the below itinerary is good enough for 9 days travel? Also, please could you suggest the must-to-do places in Kyoto , Osaka and Hiroshima ?

Landing in Tokyo on 16th Morning from Singapore
16th - Head towards Kyoto- Spend Day in Kyoto
17th - Roam around Kyoto
18th Dec - Take a day trip to Osaka from Kyoto - Return Kyoto
19th Dec - Take a day trip to Hiroshima from Kyoto - Return Kyoto
20th Dec - Roam Around Kyoto and Travel back to Tokyo in the eve.
21st Dec - Take a day Trip to MT FUJI or Hakone
22nd, 23rd & 24th Dec - Spend day in Tokyo
25th Dec - Return to Singapore

Do you think we should be staying at a Ski Resort in Mt Fuji ? Any Recommendations ?

Hello there,

I recommend using a 7 day JR Pass for day 16-22nd. This will give you the best possible savings and make very good use of the pass.

A couple of recommendations for each city:

Kyoto: Kyumizu-dera temple, Fushimi Inari, Arashiyama

Hiroshima: Peace Memorial Museum and Park, Miyajima.

Tokyo: Asakusa, Shinjuku, Akihabara and Odaiba.

I don't know a lot about wintersport in Japan but www.snowjapan.com is a great resource.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
