I really wanna go to Shirakawa-go (ogimachi village). Can you suggest me how to get there in most effective & efficient way..specially if the train is covered by the Japan Rail Pass. Thanks :-)

Hi there,
I am afraid there is no train line to Shirakawa-go. The best way is to get there by bus from either Kanazawa or Takayama. The JR Pass is not valid on this bus route.
