Hello! Thank you for your help.
We will be visiting Japan for the first time next month x 10 nights and will purchase the 7 day JR Pass.
We are already over the # of days and wonder if it makes sense, considering the itinerary below, to purchase the Tokyo – Kyoto leg separately and start the ticket on the Kyoto to Kanazawa leg?
Itinerary:
Nov 07 Narita – Tokyo
Nov 08 Tokyo – Kyoto (x 3 nights)
Nov 11 Kyoto – Kanazawa (x 2 nights)
Nov 13 Kanazawa – Nagano – Yudanaka Station (x 2 nights)
Nov 15 Yudanaka Station – Nagano – Tokyo (x 2 nights)
Nov 17 Tokyo – Narita
What do you think would be best for the start using the 7 day pass with this itinerary? Thank you very much again for your help!

Hi there,
I recommend having a look at your itinerary in our JR Fare Calculator and see if a 14-day JR Pass would be a better match to your itinerary. As it is, a 7-day JR Pass would not really match your plan.
Kind regards,
Daniel
