Hey guys, it's my first time going to Japan and i need a little bit of help with my planning.
Here is the thing, i arrive in Japan in December 24 and i leave December 31. My plan is something like this:

24-Tokyo
25- Take shinkansen to Kyoto
26 and 27- Stay at Kyoto
28- Take shinkansen to Hiroshima
29- Stay at Hiroshima
30- Go back to Tokyo
31- Leave Japan

Do you think is a good idea going to Hiroshima? If i get in the shinkansen in the morning of December 30 do you think i should be fine time wise? I would like being in Tokyo at mid day that day.
Thanks for reading :D

Hi there,

Personally I can't recommend visiting Hiroshima enough, whilst 1-2 days is enough, a visit to Japan is simply not complete without visiting the Hiroshima Peace memorial museum & park, then marvel at the beauty of Miyajima. This will also give you excellent value for the JR Pass.

Time wise it works out but do plan ahead (i.e. what trains you want to be on).

Hope this helps,
Daniel

Hi Daniel, thanks for taking your time answering.
Do you know when do Hyperdia update the tabletimes? I did try using it to get the departure times of the shinkansen on those dates but i don't know if it is accurate already or do i need to wait.
