Should I get a 14 dats JR Pass for my Itinerary

I don't think the 14-day JR Pass would be the best option here, instead look at using a regional pass such as a combination of a JR Kyushu pass and Sanyo-San'in Northern Kyushu Pass.

The best combination will depend on how many days you spend in each place.

Is Sanyo- San’ in Northern Kyushu Pass suitable for my itinerary?
1/12 Fukuoka Airport - Hakata
4/12 Hakata - Kitakyushu
5/12 Hakata - Itoshima
6/12 - 8/12 Hakata - Beppu
8/12 - 10/12 Beppu - Hiroshima
10/12- 12/12 Hiroshima - Kyoto
12/12 - 14-12 Kyoto - Osaka

It would cover travel from Hakata - Kokura, and travel up to Hiroshima from there, but not the route to Itoshima or Beppu. This is a plan where it is hard to match a pass exactly, too.

I think a safe bet would be at least a 7-day All Kyushu pass, and then single tickets to Hiroshima and Kyoto but none of these options are ideal.
