Dear Sir /Madam

I will be travelling to Jaosb in April for 12 days.

Day 1-Arrive @Narita airport then go to Osaka
Day 2 -Osaka
Day 3 -Osaka
Day 4 -Osaka
Day 5-Kyoto
Day 6-Kyoto
Day 7- 12 -Tokyo

Should I buy 7 or 14 days

Hi there,

I recommend using a 7 day JR Pass for your trip. The JR Pass is best used for longer travel, like Narita - Osaka and Kyoto - Tokyo. You can also use the JR Pass on local JR lines around Osaka and to Kyoto.

Then you can just buy normal tickets or use an IC card like Suica to travel locally around Tokyo.

Thank you on your valuable information. I have just finalized the itinerary and the details are as below:
Day 1 -Arrive @Narita airport and travel to Osaka
Day 2-Osaka
Day 3-Osaka
Day 4 -Day trip to Nara from Osaka
Day 5-Day trip to Hiroshima and Miyajima-the shrine island
Day 6-Osaka to Kyoto
Day 7-Kyoto
Day 8-Kyoto to Tokyo
Day 9-11 -Tokyo
Day 12 -Depart from Narita Airport

What is your recommendation on JR Pass ( 7 or 14 days). What is your recommendation to travel around City such Osaka,kyoto and Tokyo?
