Can I use JR Pass if want to take the Shinkansen from Osaka to Hokkaido; then back to Tokyo and finally return to Osaka within 7 days? If yes, what type of JR Pass do I have to buy? Thanks

Hi there,

Yes, you can take the JR Pass for this route. Do note that it is quite a trip, so prepare well :) I would use a 7 day or 14 day JR Pass for this trip.
