any advice if I can use JR Pass to cover Sapporo-Osaka?
Was going to fly on 16th Nov 2019 but flights are around $600..😷
- is there any way we can use JR Pass all the way from Sapporo to Osaka? couldn’t find much info for that route..
- 2nd option, will flying out to Tokyo then take JR train from Tokyo-Osaka on the same day (16th Nov) feasible?

Yes, you can use the JR Pass and Shinkansen all the way from Sapporo to Osaka. It is quite a long ride though, about 10 hours.
At the same time, there is no option as cost efficient as the JR Pass on this route.
