Reservations and routes from Tokyo to Hiroshima to Nagasaki

Hello,
We arrive on a Thursday at Narita and will stay in Tokyo for 5 nights. We plan to use the 7 day rail pass for some travel locally and for a day trip to Yokahama.
The following Tuesday, we will take a train to Hiroshima for two nights then plan to head to Nagasaki.
1. Can we use the 7 day JR pass from Saturday to Saturday for Tokyo to Jiroshima to Nagasaki?
2. Or would it be better to activate at Narita and use it until arriving in Hiroshima (6 days) and pay to get to Nagasaki.
3. How do we reserve times for each segment?
4. Is the green pass worth it due to less crowding?

Hi there,

1 & 2.) I don't fully get this question but you can use the JR Pass from Hiroshima to Nagasaki. I would also be sure to use your JR Pass from Tokyo to Hiroshima and to Nagasaki as these are pretty expensive routes without one.

4.) Personally I would certainly say yes but it is up to you how you want to spend your money :)
