Do you need reservations if you have a JR Pass?
This is our itinerary:
Osaka airport to Osaka
Osaka to Nara
Nara to Kyoto
Kyoto to Tokyo (Shinkansen)
Tokyo to Narita Airport
*If I buy single tickets, would I need reservations?

Hi there,
You do not need to make reservations - but it is recommended on Shinkansen intercity routes.
Local trains like Osaka - Nara/Kyoto do not have reserved seats. The same applies for normal tickets, seat reservations do cost a little more - but are free with the JR Pass.
