Regarding The JR Pass cover

I am going to visit Japan on September 28th night and I have absolutely 0% idea of JR pass. I would like to know the type of rail i can commute with the JR passand would also like to confirm about Shinkansen .Below is my iternary kindly help me with your suggestions

28th Sep Evening 17:30 Narita Arriaval --> Move to Tokyo -->
29th Sep --> Tokyo, Shibuya, Harajuku,few sight seeing (Will JR pass cover any rail in this route, If So which one)
30th Sep --> Tokyo Sight seeing
1st Oct --> Tokyo to Kyoto (Shinkansen is included?) , Sight seeing in Kyoto
2nd Oct --> Stay In Kyoto , go to see NARA and return(Any rail commute for this)
3rd Oct --> Go to Osaka. same evening move to Hiroshima ( Shinkansen is available between Kyoto - Osaka-Hiroshima?)
4th Oct --> Sight seeing in Hiroshima --> Move to Tokyo ( Shinkansen is available between Hiroshima - Tokyo)
5th Oct- 8thOct --> In Tokyo

Kindly help me with this JR pass for what all rail option I can use so that My trip is more efficient

Hi Sudha,

Reading your travel plan, I think the JR Pass will cover travel to all the places you want to visit. The Japan Rail Pass is valid for all these routes, including all Shinkansen lines.

I recommend having a look at our JR Map to get an idea of all lines included.
