Hi,
I was trying to use hyperdia to plot out the route from Haneda terminal 1 to Kyoto and I am unsure as to what the JRpass covers. Can you please advise what the exact route would be from the airport to Kyoto?

Hi again,
The full route Haneda Airport - Kyoto is as follows:
Take the Tokyo Monorail from Haneda to Hamamatsucho (the last stop/about 40 minutes). From there take the JR Yamanote line to Tokyo station (about 6 minutes). At Tokyo station, transfer to a Hikari service on the Tokaido Shinkansen (about 160 minutes) to Kyoto. The full route is covered by the JR Pass.

One last follow up question: would it be possible to reserve seats prior to turning in my voucher? I'm trying to travel to Kyoto as soon as I land in Tokyo.
