Hello!
We are a family of 3: 2 adults and a 5yrs old child.

I understand we don't need the pass for our kid as long as hi is travelling on our laps or in a seat that is available/not booked by other travellers. But can you confirm if we need any form of ticket for him to get on the train?

Also I would like to purchase a 14 day pass for the adults. We were thinking of picking it up from Haneda Airport and activating it on 18th October. Can you please confirm which would be the last day we can use this pass? Would it be 31st Oct or 1st Nov? And will it be valid till activation time or till end of the day on the last day?

Thank you
Edyta

Hi there,

No other ticket would be required, as long as you can prove their age.

Starting the JR Pass on the 18th, would mean that the last day of validity is the 31st.

Kind regards,
Daniel
