So my first 3 days I'll be staying in Tokyo in the otaku district near haneda airport. 3-21-13, Higashiyaguchi, Otaku, Tokyo, Otaku, Tokyo 1460091, Japan after 3 days I'll be traveling to Kyoto 10-15 Jurakumawari Higashimachi サンフローラ丸太町1F・2F, Nakagyō-ku, Kyōto-shi, Kyōto-fu 604-8404, Japan I will be activating my jr pass the day I head to Kyoto. How would I get to that location to Kyoto? Would I have to go to Tokyo station first?

Hi there,

Yes, you'd take the Shinkansen from Tokyo to Kyoto station. From Kyoto station you'd have to use local transport, like a bus, to your final stop.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
