We 3 adult will fly to Osaka on 3 Jan 2016, want to go to Nagoya for 3 days and back to Osaka, will leave by flight on 8 Jan from Osaka, what will be the best JR pass solution?

Hi there,
For this route the best option would simply be to buy a normal return ticket Osaka - Nagoya. The distance is not far enough to make savings using any pass.

We (3) will arrive Osaka Kansai airport on 3 Jan morning and want to go to Kanazawa, 5 from Kanazawa to Kyoto, 6 from Kyoto to Osaka. Will a 7 days JR pass save money and time for my travel? Pls advise. thanks.

Not if you do Osaka - Kanazawa - Kyoto, for this route alone it would be better to buy normal tickets.
