Kindly advise whether it is better to buy Nationwide JR pass for a part of travel and local area passes for some part of the travel.
Thanks in advance

Hi Galina,

I'm happy to help! Given your 15-day itinerary, I would recommend a 7-day Nationwide JR Pass activated on 26 May to cover your long-distance trips.

For the first and last portion of your trip, purchasing individual tickets and a Hakone Free Pass will be significantly more affordable.

I hope this helps plan your trip!

Kind Regards,

Mariko
