I am planning to take the Odoriko line at Izu Peninsula. I realize there is an extra fee in the Ito-Shimoda section. How much is it? Do I have to pay it every time I get the Ito-Shimoda section? Or is it a one time payment for unlimited use as long as the JR Pass is actived?

Hi there,
Extra payment is taken at the station that you get off, the extra fare depends on what station you travel to and what class you travel on. It is best to ask the fee when reserving your tickets for this train.
Kind regards,
Daniel
