I would like to ask for a train schedule on November 20 Wednesday, from Shimonoseki to Matsuyama. I have a 7-day JR Pass and hope to use the shinkansens and available trains for this leg of my trip. I plan to leave Shimonoseki at around 4:30PM or thereabouts. I used Hyperdia (I've used it several times in the past) but I could not get a schedule at all - no result.
It will be something like Shimonoseki (or Shi-Shimonoseki to Hiroshima to Okayama to Matsuyama. The Hiroshima to Matsuyama leg already takes about 4 hours but I need to reach Matsuyama before midnight. I am aware there will be several transfers. Please help. Thank you. Arigato.
PS - I already received my JR Pass voucher which I would need to exchange for a pass once in Japan.
