Dear Sirs, would you please advise which pass I should purchase for travel from NRT to Tokyo, staying in Tokyo for 5 days, then moving to Hakodate for 2 days, and then onto Sapporo (3 days). Thank you.
Narita - Tokyo - Hakodate - Sapporo

Hi,
The only passes that cover those areas are the full JR Pass and the JR East South Hokkaido Pass . But is that your whole itinerary? Are you flying, or taking the train from Sapporo?

My itierary is train NRT - TOKYO (4 days) - Hakodate (2 days) - Sapporo.
I've rented a car for my time in Sapporo.
Will the JR EAST SOUTH HOKKAIDO PASS also cover NEX from NRT to Tokyo and JR lines in Tokyo?
From Sapporo - NRT, I'll be flying. Thank you so much for your advice to my queries.

Hi,
As you can see on the coverage map in the link I gave you above, yes it does. Just remember that there are 6 days of travel within 14 days (non-consecutive, your choice) with the JR East South Hokkaido Pass, whereas the 7 day JR Pass is 7 consecutive days only.
Best of luck.
