Can some one help me and my friend. We are coming to Japan and spend 7 days. We reach on April 20th 2018. (Friday evening at reach Narita Airport) . We plan to stay near Yokohama station. Spend the week end there. We plan to stay in Tokyo for 20th to 22nd then go to Osaka on 23rd then we come back on 25th to Tokyo (stay again near Yokohama station and leave to Narita airport on the 27th.

20th Narita Airport----> Tokyo---->23rd Osaka---> 25th Tokyo----> 27th back home

what kind of train will it be cost effective for us? JR pass or individual ?

Hi Alex,

I would use a 7 day JR Pass for travel to Osaka and back to Tokyo. It would then also cover all your days in Tokyo but one. For that buy a one way ticket to Narita Airport.
