This is our first trip using the JR pass - I would like to check which is the best route from Narita Airport to Osaka Shinsaibashi Street. Less transfers as we have luggages and travelling with 2 young chidren.

Hi there,
The best route would likely be:
Narita Airport - Tokyo station using the Narita Express
Tokyo - Shin-Osaka using the Hikari Shinkansen
Shin-Osaka - Shinsaibashi using the Osaka subway, 200yen / not included in the JR Pass.
JR Namba is the closest JR station to Shinsaibashi but is about 15min walk. You could use it when you have delivered your luggage.

Hi Daniel - many thanks. How about getting from shinsaibahi to Tokyo - Okubo station? We will be travelling with our luggages and 2 children again.

Hi there,
It is the same route back to Tokyo station, from there use the JR Chuo line to Okubo station.
