Hi
I will be travelling with my family of 3 adults and 3 kids. Flying into Nagoya and then I would like to train a train to Tokyo around Shinjuku or Shibuya.
Will be in Japan for 8 days. The 8th day will need the train from Shinjuku/Shibuya to Narita.
Can you help?
2. What kind of train is it from Nagoya to Tokyo? Can we use the JR rail pass on the shinkansen?

Thanks

Hi there,

Your train travel is not that much and normal tickets will be below the cost of a 7 day JR Pass. Therefor I would recommend just buying normal rail tickets.

You can use the Shinkansen with the JR Pass.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
