We are in Tokyo for 7 nights, then Hakone for 1 night, then kyoto for 7 nights, then hiroshima for 3 nights, then Miyajima Island for 1 night, then hiroshima for 1 night, then tokyo for 2 nights. How we best use the JR passes?. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Hi there,
I recommend using a 14 days Japan Rail Pass for your trip. Going to Kyoto, Hiroshima, Miyajima and back to Tokyo all cost a good bit and the JR Pass covers travel between all these cities.
The JR Pass can also be used on the ferry to Miyajima.
