hii,
we are gonna travel to tokyo on 22nd march and from tokyo we will go to kyoto hiroshima and osaka and osaka and back to okyo. In all we gonna stay in japan for 13 nights. we gonna travel in these cities only and do the local tourists things. so i have some doubts

1) which is the best ticket for us to travel
2) how many days pass we should take
3) Dose the japan rail pass includes Shinkansen (Bullet train)
4) Dose the japan rail pass enable us to travel within the respective citiy.

thanks

Hi there,

1.) With this much travel to Kyoto, Hiroshima, Osaka, to/from Airport and local travel - a 14 day JR Pass will be well worth it.

2.) I think 1 pass per person for 14 days is plenty.

3.) Yes, all bullet train lines are included. Some train services (Nozomi/Mizuho) are not but you can use other Shinkansen trains on the same route, such as the Hikari and Sakura Shinkansen.

4.) The local JR Network in each city is covered, other transport like the metro is not.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
