last train from Tokyo to Osaka

Hello,
we will be landing on 22nd march 2018, at 8:10 pm.
1. And we intend to travel to osaka the same day, is there any train around 10pm from Tokyo to Osaka, else when is the last train timing from tokyo to osaka.
2. From Narita airport which will be a better station to go, Tokyo or shingkawa for taking the train?
3. If we use the train on 22nd evening on our pass, will it be considered as 1 day is already spent on the pass or will it be counted from the time we start using it.

Hi Shikha,

1.) I do not think that there will be enough time to travel on the Osaka if you arrive around 8.10. The Shinkansen stop service around midnight and it is about 3 hours from Tokyo to Osaka, that means the last train would depart around 9pm.

2.) Either Tokyo station or Shinagawa, there's not much difference. Sometimes one connection works out better than the other but you can use either station.

3.) The first day is counted as a full day, no matter what time you first start traveling.
