We have a 7 day JR Pass
We are considering stopping over in Hakone on our way from Kyoto to Tokyo on May 5th. Please provide the most efficient timetable including (JR train travel) i.e. how early should we leave Kyoto to go to Hakone.
Are their trains from Hakone to Tokyo at around 7pm

You can use www.hyperdia.com to find every time table, they will show the most efficient route for selected time/date.
Its about 3 hours to Hakone from Kyoto and there will be trains from Hakodate to Tokyo at 7pm.
