We have purchased Two week JR pass and are travelling From Tokyo to Hiroshima on 15th May 2017 what time does the train leave Tokyo we are hoping to travel around 11am. Is it a direct train or do we have to change anywhere?

Secondly we are travelling from Hiroshima to Kyoto on 17th May 2017 is this a direct train and how often do they run?

Thirdly we will be travelling from Kyoto to Narita aiport on 25th May 2017 we need to be at the airport for 3pm what time train should we get from Kyoto and do we have to change trains anywhere?

Hi there,

There is one transfer using the JR Pass from Tokyo to Hiroshima. You can use the Hikari Shinkansen to either Shin-Osaka or Okayama and transfer there to the Sakura Shinkansen to Hiroshima. This may be a good moment to grab a bento and enjoy some lunch!

The same applies when you travel to Kyoto, where you have the same transfer but then reversed.

Then going from Kyoto to Narita Airport. Take the Hikari Shinkansen to Tokyo station and from there the Narita Express to Narita Airport. The route takes about 5 hours so plan ahead!
