JR Station in Kobe

Hi,

I will be using my JR Pass to travel from Kyoto to Kobe. I am planning to stay at a hostel with this address:

2-1-20 Kominatodori Chuo-ku Kobe Hyogo,650-0026 JAPAN

On Google maps, Kobe station is the closest to this address. There is also Hyogo Station which is a bit farther.

When I search on Hyperdia, I am confused as to which station I should choose for Kobe station? Google Maps show there is Kobe Station and also Hyogo Station. So on Hyperdia, which one is the right one for Kobe Station?

Kobe (Hyogo)
Kobe (Nagasaki)
Kobe-Sannomiya (Hankyu)
Kobe-Sannomiya (Hanshin)

Hi there,

The correct station is called Kobe (Hyogo) for the JR Kobe station for the JR in Hyperdia.

Keep in mind that if you want to visit the city centre of Kobe, then Sannomiya is the station where you want to go :)
