Hey. I am planning to visit japan for 10 days and interested in buying my japan pass once I arrive. I wonder if you can confirm that I am entitled to it. Slovakian citizen travelling on 30 days free tourist visa. Planning to land either NRT NGO or KIX but checked those places should sell the pass. Planning to visit Kyoto Hiroshima Kanazawa Mt Fuji. Will I be able to travel to all those places with my JR pass? Thanks silvia

Hi there,

Yes, it sounds like you are eligible. The most important is that you enter Japan using a tourist visa. You will receive this upon arrival in Japan.

Travel to Hiroshima and Kanazawa is included. Most of the trip to Fuji as well, details are here:

While the JR Pass is sold on a trial basis in Japan. It is up to 20% more expensive and it cheaper to buy a JR Pass before going to Japan.
