My family will go to Japan early of Nov for 08 day which arrive to Osaka then directly to Nagoya after that come back to Kyoto then Osaka for few days before coming back home . By that plan we are better to by 07 days JR Pass or just buy the simgle ticket is more value. Please kindly help to advise.
JR pass or not?
Hello there,
With this plan I would not recommend a JR Pass. A Japan Rail Pass would work if you travel a bit further, such as to Tokyo.
Travel from Osaka - Nagoya is not that far and normal tickets would cost less.
Kind regards,
Daniel
Hi,
As said, a JR Pass simply would not pay off for you with your plans. One other option if you wanted to save some money is a Kintetsu Rail Pass which does cover your travel area. The down side is that it is not travel by bullet train or limited express train. It's valid for five consecutive days and while it would take you 2 more hours each way, it would be considerably cheaper. Choose whichever way works better for you.
Many thanks and appreciated for your kind comment , I will try to search for best solution then may need your help for final stage.
