JR pass for russian passport with bussines visa?

Hello
We are going to travel to japan hiroshima from turkey. We are russian citizens. Japan requires entry visa from us. we are going to apply for visa from turkey, for bussiness purposes as we are traveling for a short program at a company in hiroshima. My question is with a business visa on our passport will we be able to get jrpass? we have not got our visa yet, so we dont know what kind of thing they put on passport. will it specify the purpose of bussiness on it or not, is not known yet. and do they go seriously into the visa type?
but we need to know if we will be able to get jrpass or not in order to plan our travel.
could anyone please help us on this?

Hi there,

I'm afraid that a business visa does not allow travel on the JR Pass. Using a JR Pass, a traveler has to enter Japan using a short term visa (14 or 90 days) with the purpose of tourism.
