Hi we are going to Japan in September, does the JR pass include local trains? We are going from Tokyo to Nagano, then need a local train to Yudanaka.
Thank you

Hi there,
Yes, the JR Pass covers local JR trains.
However, there is no local JR line between Yudanaka and Nagano, you'd need to buy separate tickets for this part of your trip.
Hope this helps,
Daniel
