We will be traveling around Japan for about 11 days. We will travel from Tokyo to Takayama to Kyoto to Osaka and then back to Tokyo starting from 29th Jun to 10th Jul. Also planning half day or daytours from tokyo to Hakone,Mt Fuji,Kamakura ,Nikko and Hiroshima if possible from Tokyo during our initial 5 day stay in Tokyo.
Which pass do you recommend for this kind of itinerary? And does the JR pass cover all the lines between these places?

Hi there,
A 14 day JR Pass would be my suggestion if you plan on doing all of the above trips! The JR Pass would cover travel between all these cities but you may need additional travel locally, such as within Hakone/Fuji.
Hiroshima is much closer to Kyoto/Osaka, so I would do a day trip to Hiroshima when you are there. It would simply to much to do so far Tokyo.
