Hi, my family is travelling on December to Japan. Here is the itinerary:
Day 1- Arrive from Narita to Tokyo
Day 2&3- Tour Tokyo Area
Day 4 - Travel to Osaka via Shinkansen
Day 5-6 - Tour Osaka & Kyoto
Day 7 - Depart from Osaka to Kansai Airport
Can we use the JR pass for our airport transfers from Narita to Tokyo & Osaka to KIX?
Can we use the JR pass to travel within Tokyo, within Osaka and transfers from Osaka to Kyoto?
How do we reserve seats?

Hi there,
The JR Pass would cover travel between all these cities, to/from the airport and more.
Travel on local trains is also included on local JR lines, think of the JR Yamanote loop line in Tokyo and Osaka loop line in, well, Osaka :)
