Good morning,
My husband and I are planning on travelling to Tokyo in March. Arrival into Narita on March 23rd, we would like to stay in the Shinjuku area. from 23-26 march.
Then go to Kyoto 26-29 March.
Then Osaka if it makes send from 29 March to 1st April
back to tokyo Narita on 1st April and fly out of Narita on April 2nd.
Now what kind of pass would i need. Will the JR pass cover travel from Narita to Shinjuku
How much would it cost us if we bout separate tickets, for all these legs.
We may drop Osaka completely and stay extra n kyoto and Tokyo and then would it make sense to get the pass?
Also need to get to Mt Fuji. Will a JR pass take us there? Or would we need a suica pass for it?
Also, what is the cost of a pocket wifi for 10 days.
Thank you for your help.
Japan Rail pass usage

Hello,
Based on the itinerary you gave me, and the fact that you also want to see Mt. Fuji, it makes sense for your route to look somewhat like this:
Tokyo -->Fuji-->Osaka-->Kyoto-->Tokyo
Individually buying the tickets comes out to about 39,000 JPY, or roughly £215. Therefore, if your goal is to spend as little as possible it makes more sense to individually buy the tickets.
Pocket Wi-Fi comes out to £57 per person, for 10 days. For more info on this, click here: https://www.jrpass.com/orders/new_order_mobile_wifi
Hope this helps!
