Hi,
My planned itinerary is: (June 18-28/2018)
Arrive at Kansai airport early morning
Travel to Kobe
Then either Kobe to Osaka then Osaka to Tokyo
Will it be better to go from Kobe to Tokyo
Then Tokyo to Kyoto and plan to visit Uji and maybe Nara
Then Kyoto return to Osaka for flight home
In between plan to visit major tourist attractions
Should I get a JR pass or what recommendations can you give.

Hi there,
I recommend using a 7 day JR Pass, given you woul do the above travel in 7 days or at least return to Kansai (Kyoto) before the pass expires.
It does not matter if you travel from Osaka or Kobe to Kyoto, as both are on the Shinkansen lines. Going quickly to Tokyo.
Hope this helps,
Daniel
