Hi,

We are flying in from Tokyo. We will be spending about 12 days in Japan. We plan to go to visit the following cities which are

Hiroshima (2 days)
Kobe (2 days)
Osaka (2 days)
Kyoto (2 days)
Nagoya (2 days)
Tokyo (2 days)

I have heard visiting Nagoya is not that great. It is more an industrial town without too much to see. Would it make more sense to by the 7 days pass and skip Nagoya? I could also by the 14 day pass and not worry about 2 days lost. Which would be the recommendations?

Hi there,

I think there's an argument to be made to skip Nagoya all together, use a 7 day JR Pass to return to Tokyo and enjoy your time their. There's plenty to see and do in Tokyo and if you want you can make a side visit to Kamakura, Nikko, Yokohama or Mt. Takao easily.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
