I now have my JR pass but I'm having second thoughts

Ok, so I have purchased the JR pass for my family and I, on our upcoming trip and we are planning to go from Tokyo - Fuji-shin - Kyoto - Kansai Airport. Is this doable? I have the following timings but from reading the forum, I'm now not so sure it works as I have planned:

Tokyo - Fuji-shin (1hr 8mins)
Fuji-shin - Kyoto (2hrs 6mins)
Kyoto - Kansai Airport (1hr 18mins)

Can someone confirm if these timings are possible with the JR Pass?

Thanks

Hi there,

Yes, this is doable. However, I do not recommend staying/visiting Shin-Fuji. This is an industrial area with nothing else of interest. If you want to enjoy yourself and view Fuji, go to Atami, Mishima, Odawara (Hakone) or even Shizuoka.

Route is fully covered by the JR Pass.

Kind regards,
Daniel

Thank you! Stopping at Shin-Fuji to hire a car and drive to the lake for a night's stay. Thought the drive would be fun. Who knows?!
