Hi there,
I will be arriving at Narita airport at 1pm and plan to activate my JR Pass at Narita and go to Atami right away with the pass. Is that possible?
My itinerary is: Narita - Atami - Takayama - Shirakawago - Takayama - Tokyo. Can I book all of the shinkansens in advance (while I activate the JR Pass at Narita on the first day). Or can I book as I go (on the day of the departure)?

Hi there,
Assuming it is not too busy, then you can book all the tickets at once at Narita Airport, or as you go.
